Not initially but with alot of time and handling they are settling down.

I want an Ayam Cemani, but the cost... I wouldn't be allowed to purchase a $2500 chicken. They're stinkin' gorgeous, though...

Apparently they cost up to $4000 each though....wow....

They are not QUITE that high here! Don't know about exporting to Australia, maybe you could start with some hatching eggs! Those are only $6/egg plus $20/dozen shipping....a touch more if going overseas and all kinds of USDA /Australian DA stuff....Or you could get a 6 week old one in California for only $999.00! You are closer to Indonesia where they come from tho...

Awesome! I really do love the Ayam Cemani!!

Don't know where you are but I live close to Dragonfly hatchery in Hillsborough NC and the area has, though not quite saturated, a fair number of ACs! Just saw an ad for cockerels for $20, straight run chicks from Dargonfly also
