Hi everyone! My name is Kate and I currently live in a rural area of Upstate NY. My husband Justin and I recently bought our first home in November of 2020 and decided to jump into the chicken life lol. We received barnyard mix hatching eggs from a local friend and sadly only three survived. We ordered from Hoover's 5 Mystic Onyx, 5 Turkens, and 5 Gold Polish (only one survived) and they are great. We also have 5 Khaki Campbell ducklings we're raising that my husband just had to bring home from Tractor Supply lol. My husband is a bit obsessed with the birds and wants more Mystic's because they are by far the most docile and affectionate of all we have but Hoover's won't have them again until the end of May so we're not sure yet. I'm still trying to convince him that we need a few goats lol. I love crafting, animals especially dogs, photography, and learning new things. Hope to hear back from some of you soon!
