Good luck to you as well. I feel like a lot of it is luck, but we definitely learn by doing.

Yay!! I’m so happy you’re inspired! I haven’t had to replant artichokes, mine come back each year so plan to have a dedicated place for them once you plant. Gardening has definitely been a learning experience, particularly here in AZ. We don’t get rain or much in the way of natural things to...

I’m not too sure whether artichokes would grow in your climate or not Val. It gets plenty cold here and by summer the plants are dormant. You might want to look up green globe and see how they’d do in your zone. You certainly get the rain they need. Squash, maybe you planted too many? Obviously...

I have about 200 square feet dedicated to veggies. Currently there are artichokes, broccoli, garlic, lettuce, carrots and pickling cukes. Waiting in the wings are two types of tomatoes, some jalapeños and Thai peppers, squash, and Armenian cukes. We’ll see how that goes! I have my herbs and...

This is great news! I hope everything goes well for you both. I know a bit about this from experience with my mom and it’s amazing how much better she feels. I think a lot of that is the knowledge that she’s got a device to help, so if her body fails she’s still ok. That has to be a huge relief.

Wow, she’s had a long recovery. So happy to know Queen Bee is enjoying the outdoors again Val! Roosters are one thing I do and don’t miss about my flock. If I had the space I might keep a flock of just boys simply for their beauty and antics. I find them much more entertaining than the hens...
