A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that my DH and I were building a 10X40 chicken coop to house 4 breeds. The coop is now done, and we're almost done with the outside pens.
We started sinking the supports, and used 2X12's to tie it together so it stayed plumb. Putting on the tin roof helped a lot!
Once we got the front wall framed and plywood on, we framed and put up the wire for the first pen.
While DH continued to frame and put up plywood, I painted the front, and put up the wire, roosts and laying boxes for the next pens. The feeders and waterers are hung from the rafters
And because it's my Christmas present:
