I have an outdoor hen who is now sitting on several eggs. She is determined to stay in an area that is exposed to rain, but shaded so she won't get too hot. It is getting close to her hatching her chicks and I was wondering if I should move her to a more secure location? She gets extremely ruffled... lol if I attempt to move her, but I am willing to get pecked to keep her and the potential chicks safe. Should I move her now or wait? We have some predators around here and I am surprised she hasn't gotten eaten yet. She refuses to go into the coop with all my other chickens.

I'd move her to a safer location after at least one egg hatches. You might accidentally break her if you move her before or she'll get off the eggs and return to her original nesting spot.
