I hear ya...I quadrupled my tomato seeds during our warm snap in February...beyond thankful to finally get them all planted or gifted! Saved couple folks no telling how much $ with 30 tomato plants! Thankful beyond belief! Now bring on the tomatoes!!! What all kinds did u plant this year?!

Hey yall...quick garlic question I planted my garlic back in November (little later than I wanted to get it in ground). We had a blizzard at end of December but I had it mulched and covered. I've had to relocate all of the garlic plantings due to construction. They had really good roots on them...

No rain in a while so during 40s mid day yesterday I lifted the frost barrier and gave the lettuces and garlic a drink...then dadgum if we didn't get down to 17 again last night even though it said low would be high 20s!?! Reckon I messed up?

Looks like everything survived except the radicchio...got it changed out. Thank you! @Sueby I'm in zone 7 I had already laid thin layer of pine bark over top of the garlic planted 2" below surface... first time ever planting it. Wasn't sure if it would need watering during these freezing cold...

I didn't use my frost cloth cause it was late at night after dealing with my sick mom and I wasn't thinking so grabbed first thing I thought of in garage...heavy duty painters drop cloth...? 🙃

We got freezing temps all week here in TN...I covered my raised bed that has the garlic and lettuces all in it. Do I need to uncover it on warmer than freezing days? And how do I water it if it's freezing or below?

Tired of waiting on DH to plant the pampas grass I found (been over 2 months waiting I think!) So did it myself and moved the rhododendron that is just not happy or doing well anywhere. Hopefully this time is the right spot!

I still hadn't got the garlic planted! Do I need to soak em overnight? Or just split em apart and plant em 2" and mulch em? I've been watering the bed they are going in off n on so it won't be bone dry but not soppy wet by no means.

Did it help any?! I've never had success with that before.
