    Best chicken waterer?

I think the Beaktime drinker cups are the best since they leave water in the cup that the chickens can see and easily drink. They also don't drip like nipple waterers and can be hooked up to any size container. I use two 5 gallon buckets so I don't have to add more water as often.

    watering chicken and turkeys

I like to use cups and nipples together so they have different options. Some seem to prefer one type and others don't really care.

Review by '' on item '10 Beaktime Chicken Cup Waterers + 1/2" PVC T Bracket'

Allows for automatic water to adult chickens. I only have to give my chickens water once per month instead of every day

10 Beaktime Chicken Cup Waterers + 1/2" PVC T Bracket

They are automatic so you do not need to water chickens as often They do not leave puddles below like nipple waterers They are contained so there is no backflow meaning there will be much less need for cleaning and less green growth that is very common with standard waterers

    Watering Cups?

I prefer cups because the chickens can see water and have a nice source to drink from but both work pretty well. They are pretty much interchangeable other than the height.

    Beaktime auto-watering cups for buttons?

Were the cups you used the Beaktime cups? Are the quail large enough to press the valve on the cup to release water?

Does anyone use the tube water cup waterer from Beaktime?

If you drill the hole on the bottom of the bucket, you can thread it right into the plastic of the bucket and do not need anything other than the cup. There is no need for added nuts or washers

    Changing waterer

Hi, I get that question all of the time with the automatic drinker cups I sell. Chickens will go to what they are used to. If they have has water from another source and the new source is gone, they will go to the new source and be fine. If they have the option to use both, they will...

    Plants for chickens

I left a bunch of plants that were growing in the area that I built my coop and they lasted 1/2 day after putting the chickens in there. The best way to do it is have plants around the coop that they can peck at and get some foliage but not be able to stomp and destroy like they do with plants...

    Ran out of food!!!

You can feed them a load of stuff from your kitchen. Green vegetables are great. You can even feed them meat and food you have cooked but avoid it if it has a lot of salt or toppings like salad dressing, etc. Do they have access to soil with little rocks since they will need them to process...
