There is an objection to using diatomaceous earth since it can cause serious lung issues in chickens and more importantly, people.
Please check before considering using this product.

Excellent pictures of the best budget small flock starting brooder. Newer versions feature options such as a heating pad instead of a light, but overall the rest is about the same.

An interesting intro into clostridium. Unfortunately I don't feel there's enough emphasis on how devastating c. Dif can be to certain humans that may pick it up. Also the home remedies listed have no scientific references! This is not acceptable if they are going to introduced as an option, even with the disclosure of not being a professional.

Since you did make changes it would've been nice to know how you came about your plans to change it, what you did and how you did it and what you would have done differently.

This does look like an amazingly sturdy structure.

2. Provided excellent pictures and descriptions of dimensions and sizes, I didn't feel that a plan drawing was necessary with the good shots that you gave.
3. Did a good job on your follow up with likes / dislikes.
