When should I let my hatched gosling swim?

I let my goslings swim for about five minutes at a week and a half old. They loved it, they are now four weeks old and spend about an hour in the water at least three times a day. They dive down and dip often. They tried to stay out all night in the pond tonight, but I got them out.
