when do i give my chicken a nest boxs they are 7 week old bantys

They don't need a box until they are much closer to laying age. I wouldn't put one in until they are around 17 weeks.

If you put in before they are close to laying you run the risk they will see the boxes as sleeping quarters, and that's a hard habit to break.

Make sure they are used to roosting on the roosts before you put in any boxes, and having the roosts higher than the boxes also helps deter them from sleeping in the boxes.

Sleeping in boxes = nasty poopy eggs.
