Oh so you could have show quality and get average chick's as well as show quality birds out of the is that also true if you get average birds can they have show quality out of them

When you breed SQ chickens you get some show quality chickens and lots of them that are not SQ. Just because the chicks are not show quality does not mean they are not still good representatives of the breed.

But, when you breed chickens that are just good representatives of the breed you are going to just get more good representatives of the breed, not show SQ.

Either way, you will have chicks to sell to the public.
