WHAT BREED IS MY DUCK

I was given 4 eggs from a friend of a friend to stick in an incubator to see if anything popped out. Cut to 8 weeks later and we have a new addition to the coop but I can’t for the life of me find out what breed he/she is !! They are the brown one next to the Pekins. Can anybody help.

Looks like either a Saxony duck or a mix.

I'd say mix, but beautiful either way. Can't wait o see the next set of feathers!

I have no idea, I am a chicken person not a duck person, but to me it looks like some sort of mix .

A Saxony mix. I have WH Saxony mixes and they are similar though I don't think your other half is WH.

Does he/she quack or rasp? It looks like a young Saxony male, they have a darker brown/cream chest than females and the head feathers will eventually turn solid gray like my Male in the picture. Female feathers will lighten, just like the 3 in this picture. Either way, that is a beautiful looking baby!

Looks like a Saxony mix, maybe with a Rouen.

No they weren’t fertile sadly
