Hi everyone
I have a 2 day old peachick that had trouble hatching. He was in the egg 2 or 3 days after he was supposed to hatch. By the time he was out, the entire egg had dried up and the umbilical chord had already become unattched and dry. None of the other 7 eggs hatched.
This little guy hasn't been able to stand or walk. He lays on the ground with his legs out to the same side, putting all his weight on his side. His toes remain curled, but he can grip and move them. I've had him move his legs and it seems like the issue is in his hips. It's almost like splayed leg, except splayed INWARDS, if that's possible. And it seems like it's just one leg doing this.
Is there anyway to fix this? Hobbling won't work because he kicks off to the side instead of putting weight on his legs. If i can't fix it soon, I'm going to have to put him down and I really don't want to have to do that.
