The rain has stopped for now, maybe I can finish planting the tomatoes. At least the pollen is partially washed away.

Has anyone gone to the exotic animal auction in long prairie before? There is one on Saturday and i am deciding if its worth the drive.

I found it on their facebook page. They had a long list of animals going to be there.

It's quite the thing, I hear. The lady in De Smet, SD, from whom I bought my Highland cattle, goes to it, I guess. Don't know if she's going this year, but she seemed to think it was worthwhile.

We had 87 yesterday. Clouds of pollen off the pine trees. I sneezed all day. It’s raining now.

it was the same here! Pollen like a thick fog from all the pine trees, we are not allergic, but DD and I both had headaches ju from the quantity, I think!
