Selling chicks in RI

I have been searching the RI DEM agriculture website all day and have come up with no answers. I want to start selling day old chicks but I want to make sure I am not doing so illegally. As far as I know NPIP certification is voluntary in my state. I cannot find any other certifications or laws about selling poultry in RI. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have four RI reds, but I don't think that counts as experience.

You could ask a local farm store what the rules for them are. In MA, stores are not allowed to sell less than 3 chicks at a time. Some farmers/sellers I've seen on CL adhere to the 3 chick minimum, others do not.
