Chirping
Hi!
I bought 2 Wyandotte chicks and 2 Speckled Sussex chicks in September. One of the Wyandottes had issues with pasty butt, despite my constant cleaning, plenty of water, and not too much heat. I even put Vaseline on her bottom each time I cleaned it. Now that they are bigger and in my grow-out pen, she still gets a dirty bottom I have to wash. But I've noticed she seems to be smaller than the other Wyandotte and much more "round." She only has one longer tail feather, but I thought it was because she lost a lot of down on her bottom with all the washing or clumped-on poo. I don't know if she's rumpless or has some other issue that is affecting her growth or skeletal structure and she is not able to expel the poop properly. I don't know what to do. Any advice appreciated!
