I know in the long run I'll feel very good about the decision. It's just the fact that he was my pet and the fact that I was hand feeding him for about 5 minutes before boxing him up made me realize how much I'll miss him. Sounds corny, but he was a good bird.

I've adopted three dogs in the past that needed homes....they finished up in a really good home...and I can honestly say that they enjoyed their lives here......

It's gotta suck to give up a pet....but he's going to a good place....and you did the right thing for him
