Placing chicks with a hen who's brooding

Oh - that changes things. She can't both raise chicks and hatch eggs. I would just brood them yourself unless you have 2 broody hens.

She would have to leave the eggs and take the chicks out to get food and water.
If she accepts the chicks do you have an incubator?
Or, you could raise the chicks and leave her on her eggs.
Be prepared for any cockerels that hatch.
