Do they lays eggs? What kind of sounds do they make?
This is SO cool!

Too early for eggs. Most just peep like a ringneck hen, but some make a noise in between a chicken and pheasant sound.

Have you had any hybrid that lays eggs or that try to mount? It would seem that their Sterility is due to their sexual organs not developing successfully. Perhaps if one starts with hormone treatment early as chicks one could get a fully developed male or hen that would lay or mount

They are too young to lay eggs. I have seen they try to mount each other, but never successfully.

If they try to mount each other does that mean that the males aren’t sterile?

It only means that their testes have at least some development. But if they produce Viable Sperm is another thing altogether.
