I have a 7 month old and he has come at me over 10 times. drew blood on me twice. everytime I turn my back on him he charges me doesn't matter if he is in the run or if I let them out to free range he comes at me . I wanted to use him for my breeding with my barred rocks to get black sexlink chicks. he is just to mean to keep around thinking of replacing him.

I would look into a Heritage Rhode Island Red. I would get a rooster from a breeder at a show. Then maybe you can get a nice rooster but a pet quality one. The HRIR are not aggressive like their counter parts from the hatcheries.
