Neighbors complaining about flies

Hi, so I got en email today.My neighbors are complaining about flies.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

My chickens are in a large run with wood chips covering the run.

I have 5. I'm only allowed 3 and with them complaining . . . well... you know.

I hear they're not too hard to trap. If you do though you have to dispose of them properly. Don't just dump them somewhere. None of us wanting them showing up becoming one of our problems.

That's exactly what I'm using.

If the flies are an issue just set up some fly traps.

Try sand, you can scoop poop and with no poop there won't be anything to attract the flies. If swapping the run medium is not an option. You could also try pressure washing the run and sprinkling with agricultural lime or DE.
