Do not put water on its beak, it's very easy for them to breathe it in and aspirate. The yolk provides everything a duckling needs for a few days after hatch. It will be fine until then provided it doesnt become shrinkwrapped from so much membrane being exposed
Agreed, do NOT give it water.
I doubt it will become shrink wrapped since the membrane is barely even around the duckling.

wait for it to absorb the rest of the yolk and blood so it dose not bleed to death. This could take around 24 to 48 hours. Do not remove any of the shell until you know it’s not going to be able to get out. You can try putting a drop or two of water on his peak to keep it hydrated or painting the membrane with a soft paintbrush.
Okay will do. Thank you

Okay thank you.

How is the duckling doing today?

I assisted by chipping some of shell away to better understand what was going on
In the future, consider candling the egg to understand better what is going on, instead of assisting early.
▪Once the yolk finishes, will i need to fully assist the rest of the way? Or will it be able to finish hatching by himself?
I think it can finish hatching with no help when it is ready. Since it is pretty exposed, I would avoid touching it to reduce the risk of infection.
