The pure chickens I hatch from my flocks, are Malays, & Silkies(I do have Silkie mixes, those are for introducing new color). I've even hatched purebred Porcelain D'uccles. I no longer have D'uccles though, slowly turning the "Bantam" Coop into a Silkie coop.

The D'uccles I used to have, plus chicks I've hatched from them.

A little tricky tip.

The trick to getting mostly purebreds from a mixed flock(s), is to have more of the same breed, amongst others that are not.

If you don't have a rooster, or roosters of that same breed not in that flock, or in a different flock without the same breeds all you're gonna get is mixes.
