Does anyone know what sex and color this heritage turkey is? I got this turkey from Porter’s on October 13, 2023. As a poult it was grey with a yellow breast similar to a slate.

Looks like it could be a dark grey. Are it's wings barred? Or solid black?

She is a dark grey: bb cgcg n-. Basically Narragansett with two copies of the grey gene (cg). Beautiful bird.

The way you described her as a poult, she may be a silver dapple like my jake. Bb cgc (nn) n-. Mine is a little darker than your hen but they look very similar.

I was thinking that she might be a silver dapple, but there are a lot of brown feathers mixed in. Though I do not believe she is a chocolate dapple. Do silver dapple turkeys have brown feathers too? Thank you for the information.
