Loosing tale feathers and bald spot on neck

I have three leghorn chickens that are looking a little rough lately:( They are pretty big (fat) compared to an average bird of their breed. They have full roam in my backyard although they eat mostly layer pellets and stay in the same couple spots most of the day.One chicken has a balding spot on her neck. All three have feather lose in their tale feathers. The feathers aren’t failing out right away- more like deteriorating. They also seem to preen themselves way too much. I’m thinking this could be out ofboredom
I treated them with dust medicine for mites although I’ve never seen any mites on them. I have treated them for legmights as well by applying Vaseline. Their feet are looking much better although some of their scales are growing back still.
Another issue I have with them is bullying. The alpha chicken will bully the other two.
Please let me know what you think could be the issue. I appreciate all the help!

I bought a hen looking like this (not as severe, but they did have poorly grown tails and wing feathers), it turns out the original owner did not feed enough protein and after proper care, shelter, and food, she has grown all her feathers back. Your hen will look much better after her molt, feed her higher protein.
Do you have a rooster?
How much protein percentage is in your feed?

the leghorn I was talking about:

Thanks for the reply! No I don’t have a rooster and the food is 16% for protein.
They have lots of space but I think it could possibly be stress or boredom related. I’ve noticed they are preening themselves almost excessively.

You need to up the protein during molting season, and 16% protein is a bit less, I would bump it up to 20% for now; and higher during molting season...
