Be careful where you buy them. You can find Ayam Cemani on Craigslist here in Florida, but they lack some of the black pigmentation. For example, the ones I bought had black combs, black legs, toes, and toenails, but pinkish throat and grayish skin. If you want the all black, look carefully before you buy!

Also lots of them have pretty ropey plumage I've noticed (at least those sold in Indonesia - including mine), possibly from in-breeding

Faith Farms in Lebanon, TN has new chicks. I know they are not in MS either, but wasn't sure what part you were from.
