Keeping several roosters together.

Hi, I am wondering if roosters will fight each other if no hens are around? I don't like the look of hens, and just want to keep roosters. I know someone that swears he keeps all of his roosters together in one pen, and the hens in another, and they never fight, but I'm just not sure if it will work for me.

Generally speaking roosters that are raised together get along fine without hens to fight over. You will have to be prepared to deal with the odd bully, or the one that will not stand up to the crowd or keep up. Keep them in a bigger area than you would the same number of hens and you should be sucessful.

A bachelor pen is a good thing for them...I have also heard that males won't fight without females. Good luck...I'd love to be knee deep in roos.
