I've got a rooster that has to find a good home yesterday!

I've got a speckled Sussex rooster/cockerel. I'm not sure when they make that transition in name. Either way we got him the last week of February this year and he was supposed to be a she. Ordinances do not allow me to have a backyard rooster because I'm inside of Fayetteville city limits. He's started crowing about 3 weeks ago and I'm scared to put him on Craigslist. He's really a gorgeous bird and he's getting frisky with the girls so he's going to make beautiful babies. Very friendly, my 7 year old daughter picks him up and totes him around. I'm in Fayetteville in Northwest Arkansas if anyone would like him he's free to a good home!

Is Joplin MO too far away? They have a poultry swap this Sat. at Turkey Creek Feed. You could actually offer him for sale there.

(I'd like to have a rooster, but haven't convinced my hubby yet. I have an SS hen! She's a sweetie, and I heard the roosters usually are too)

I found him a really nice home in the country! Thank you
