HELP! Bumble Foot?!?!

thanks! its on both feet on 3 chickens. can i put those 3 together?

As long as they get along and your containment area is big enough to keep clean with all 3 in it, yes...

and is it contagious?

No... bumblefoot is caused by an injury, thorn, wound, etc that gets infected... pus in chickens is a hard, cheesy substance... it is usually equated as a staph infection... needs to be treated though or it will get worse...

Can be caused by thorns, too small of roosts, to high of roosts, hard packed dry mud run floor, etc...

Yep, sounds like how they can get issues... just check feet as part of a routine check...

Glad to help... try not to cut if you don't have to... :)
