It may have been due to stress because the other two were bullying ing him for a while

If you apply coconut oil or some other oily salve to the chick's butt, you may have to clean it less often since the oil helps the poop not to stick.

Don't stop cleaning it off the chick's vent, it will block up and kill your chick if you do. A little poop around the very bottom of the butt is fine to leave, just don't let it block the vent.
