Dutch Hookbills

I think they do just fine. I had a box of ducklings from them get lost in the mail, 5 days late, march in AK so about 25 degrees all day, didn't loose one duckling.
I have ordered adult runners from Holderread in the past. To de-stress them after the trip, I opened the box in their new pen and let them come out when they were ready. It took a surprisingly long time for them to come out of the box. But they were fine, and after a few days, seemed completely at home.

Just picked up a pair from Holderread after 2 years on a list. They were thirsty after spending 30 hours in a box but put a fight when I took them out❤️

There's a lady in MN that raise them and a lady in Missouri. I think I got them off Poultry Show Central. I haven't gotten any yet but will be aiming to buy some that are show quality, for a flock to preserve the breed, show, and sell. Right now I need to get my show pens built for the Australian Spotted Ducks, East Indies, and Mini Appleyards I bought. Feel like I'm always playing catch up. LOL
