I posted an earlier thread about a weird chicken color that appeared in my flock. I don't know what it is. Here's the thread with pics of my chickens:

Anyway, I got this weird all red roo - no black. He has a darker chocolate color where the black should be. No idea where the color came from. I've been working on a new breed, I'm in Southwest Phoenix, and have found a few interesting mottled chickens that have been my base stock. There have been a few oddities here and there, strange and unusual colors, in my neighborhood. I wonder if they are coming from fighting/game stock creeping up from Mexico when the families move up here?
Today I saw this weird roo on Craigslist, and he looks a lot like my rooster, except my guy has mottling on top. So what color is this rooster?? Click on the ad and tell me what you think:

They are calling him a "pumking game" LOL. What color is this? Does it look like the same base color as my new orangey roo? (Except mine has mottling on top of the base color.)
