I saw a few little feathers on her legs! Nowhere near as many as your guy, but still. Very interesting!

Read this thread a while ago and thought it was neat and something I would never have...and wouldn't you know it but I just hatched two ducklings with feathered legs! A pair. The male has more feathers than the female. These are out of my own ducks, so I guess the male and at least one female must carry the genes for it. The male is straight from holderreads. Both parents are purebred welsh harlequins. Who would have thought! I wonder if it counts as a fault?

I just noticed my three week old lavender Ancona duck is sprouting feathers on its legs. At this rate it will have fully feathered legs like a Marans chicken when fully grown.
