Do quails need water at night

We have a predictor problem so we want to lock up the quail at night away from the wire floor. Do they need access to food and water at night?

No, they don't. When they go on roost, that's it, they won't move unless disturbed. They would if you had them setup for 24hr production...but that's a whole other subject.
