Dislocated femur. My avian vet confirmed with X-rays my gosling.

Took my 14 day old gosling to avian vet and X-rays confirmed my gosling has somehow dislocated his femur bone in his hip joint. He is taking the next three days to try and contact every specialist he knows on a solution to fixing it. He was going to sedate and try and pop it back into place but said it probably won’t stay. I’m asking if anyone has dealt with this type of injury? What’s a good plan? The gosling can stand and walk on it. He’s such a sweet little guy.

Femur injuries are very hard to treat. I remember someone got a chick’s hip back in place by holding the chick downward. Here is the geese forum where I would also post:
