I have no plastic or other impermeable floor in the coop-run. Stone is better than plastic for humidity. And I think sand is the best. (HWC underneath against pests).
My floor is sand. Easy to clean and never moistures. The coop is very (extremely) airy in summer. The parts where they roost are wood with cardboard (from box of packaging) and some hay in the laying nests and wood shavings to absorb any moisture from the poop.
