No it's not! I wanted an alternative to coffee and on a whim bought a box of it. It's pretty potent for tea!

Morning again made my first try at tarter sauce recipe off the web.. Did add ground Cloves, and dill pickle only called for sweet so

1/4 cup pickles dill and sweet
4 tbsp yellow Mustard
4 tbsp Dijon
3 tbsp Honey
1 cup Mayo
3 tbsp Dill
2 tsp ground Cloves

Make at least 3 hours before serving.

to compliment that the Son made me a muffin egg, cheese, bacon for breakfast Yum anyone ready for his mc chicken breakfast

I'll ask her.
She's a bit of a mix. Her great grandmother was a bantam, incubator orphan. The last incubator hatched chick here. This is her story.
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/shadrachs-stories.1263724/#post-20295718So, Knock has Marans and some sort of bantam mix. The bantam genes in appearance at least seem to be more prominent in knock than in her mother, or grandmother.

I don't name chicks until mum has stopped being broody and they've grown enough to get at least a hint of their personality.
It was Brackets chicks and they are all doing well. They're a bit agitated now because I've just stolen their mother to oil her legs.

Are you still downsizing IM?

Yes and no. I have my chosen rooster but there's another I'd like to keep. For now we're going to give it a go with 2 roos and 8 to 10 hens. I'm not hatching any eggs myself but if someone goes broody then that'll be ok.
