Do you think you could have lost some to coccidiosis? Or were the dead injured? If coccidiosis is suspected I would treat with some Corid for 5-7 days. Dosage is 10 ml (2 tsp) of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water.Symptoms of coccidiosis are standing around puffed up, lethargy, not eating, and runny droppings.

How hard is it to separate the juveniles for another 6-9 weeks?

I look to be the easiest solution with your amount of space.

I think I’m all right on space because there’s another separate room to that house, but they seem to have been packed through the back end and bled to death

I would keep them in separate rooms for awhile until the young ones grow. Then slowly over days, introduce them through some wire fencing.
