Cannibalism extreme problem

For the last three days, I have pulled out 8 dead juvenile eight weeks old out of my flock of 78 now 70 at applied pick no more more now I’m just trying to figure out a more permanent solution as to stop this and not have this problem in the future
 
8 week olds between adults often get attacked. Especially if there is little space, and only one or two feeding stations.
The 8 week olds need their own space, a place where the adults can’t come. Where the youngsters have their own chick feed and water. @aart wrote ann article about integrating chicks with more info.

Other thing that crossed my mind is rats.
 
I would separate younger ones to a separate area. Mixing ages and sizes suddenly is not good. What type of feed anre you giving? Chicks need anll flock or chick starter grower for enough protein. Multiple feeders and waterers placed apart can help prevent bullying. Are the chickens getting outside to roam? How much light is in the coop area? Here are some good articles on cannibalism:
