Ahhh I am such a fish nerd. I use to have 13 big tanks running (like 125g tanks) everything from bettas to seahorses!
The guppy in the OP is a female. Generally male guppies are a lot prettier and more colorful, they also have a thinner more streamlined body. Then the way to tell almost any livebearer fish is the fin on the bottom of the stomach. A female it'll come out to a rounded fin, males its a pointed fin and usually its held clamped together rather than spread like a sail like females do, hopefully that makes sense.
