Bumpy beak means rooster?

One of my bantams is about 4-5 weeks old. She's(?) developed a ridge of bumps going up the top of her beak and onto her head. Does this mean rooster? or is it meaningless at this point?

I believe that's the comb you are referring to. Hens have them too, they are just smaller than than the roosters.

Yes the comb. Not good at terminology yet.
But would both sexes be developing this early? Probably 5 weeks.

I could be either. You can post pics on the "What Breed or Gender is This?" section and people will give their best guesses. Sometimes it is easy, other times it is not.

Tried to take a pic but my wife has one of those 800000000 megapixel cameras and I can't figure the camera out. But i could get a perfect pic if I were 800 feet away from the chicken

I'll get her to take a pic later.

But I'm american. I hate waiting.
