BRM's Parakeet Adventure! 🦜 *What should their names be?*

Night fright?
A night fright is something all indoor parrots can get (some species are more prone to having them). A night fright is when something scares them during the night causing them to fly around their cage in a panic. This can be caused by a car lights outside, a sound, a bug crawling around their cage, a bad dream, or something else. Poor Neptune was very prone to having night frights and had one while I was on an over night trip. Since I wasn't there to calm him down he broke his neck banging around his cage.

Did you get the girls yet?
Just picked them up!

If you plan on breeding i wouldnt keep the pairs together that will not end well as each female needs three nest boxes per hen... Also id remove the coconut your hens shouldnt be bred until past a year old anything sooner will cause problems and ive used a coconut before and lost three budgies from them nibbling it because of the chemicals on the outside.
