Great. How far in advance did you apply ? Here, it is done a month prior. I checked on the exhibitions here, and a person doesn't just grab up a bunch of chickens, and head for the fair. Lot involved. Wish my Grandkids were interested in livestock. They'd have some fun showing poultry.

Ohio National is a big show. They are expecting roughly 10,000 birds, The show hotels filled this summer and the show isn't till November. I'm starting to condition my birds now so they are in good condition for the show. I am getting my entry form out this week.

:cd. Ole Mac is guarding one of the 22wk old pullets on the nest. If she doesn't lay I'll be disappointed. Most of them have been peeking into the boxes this past week. Can hardly wait to hear them cackle .
