Yep, it's normal. They also shed out the chick down through their new feathers, making them look like fugly velociraptors.

Omg this had me rollin! They do look a little less fluffy lately. Idk when they start getting their feather feathers but I don't doubt they will look odd soon

My Buff Orpingtons have all lost their fuzzy underbelly area. Now it looks like they are permanently wet. I think the dino process has begun?
