I currently have 15 eggs incubating from my Saxony female who came from Meyer Hatchery last year. As she continues to lay, I am going to add more batches with weekly hatch dates after this first batch. She has mated with my Saxony drake as well as my half Mallard/half Pekin drake. So some will be purebred Saxony, some will be Saxony mixes.

Brünhilde is a very sweet, loving, social, friendly duck and so is my Saxony drake. I expect her babies to be very similar. The are pet-quality Saxony, not Exhibition quality. But great pets and great layers with STRONG brooding/mothering instincts.

The parents are free range ducks on a 5-acre lake. They are fed 16% layer pellets twice per day in addition to snacks consisting of earthworms, nightcrawlers, fresh veggies and fruits, and all the native plants and aquatic algae/vegetation/crustaceans they forage for and eat throughout the day. My husband is a DVM, I’m an LVT, and our ducks are extremely healthy, happy, and well cared for.

I cannot ship, but can meet within 2 hours’ drive of Chattanooga, TN/Northern Georgia. Pickup is also welcome! I may hold back a few pure Saxony but otherwise they will all be available. Straight run only! $10 per Saxony duckling, $5 per Saxony mix duckling.

Please PM me if interested! Pics are of my Saxony pair and my Mallard/Pekin drake.
