6-week old with splayed leg

One of my chicks developed splayed leg at 3 weeks. She is now 6 weeks and one leg recovered with the brace
but the other leg is worse.

Is this hopeless? Has anyone had a chick with splayed leg that was able to get around as an adult?

Try using a band aid or rubber band to hold one leg at standing distance to the other . Just loop one around both legs . That may help

I have one he’s in a small flock, he gets where he needs to go, albeit not pretty but his quality of life is good.

I had a chick with a splayed leg when it was younger, and I set it in a cup to force it to stand for 30 min a day for only three days. In the end it totally healed and she can move freely and perfectly as she gets older.
