To be fair, I've had over 50 males before. I think I'm in the high 30s or 40s currently. If you hatch a lot of eggs or get st run chicks, it's easy to get a ton of boys in not a long time

As a breeder you must hatch alot and cull down or sell the rest to keep the best to better the breed. You don't just hatch 10 then cull 8 at a day old. That's no way to be a good breeder. It takes at least a year and a half better 2 minimum to see what you have. And if you're raising 2,3 5 different breeds the numbers go up quick. Chicken math is all over this site with hens. Well it goes with cocks too

I personally wouldn't recommend going on someone's property and stealing gamefowl. Some folks value them more than others and you may get in over your head

We don't know that they are gamefowl; OP seems to be one and done. Though your point stands for any belonging.
