Hello all! I have 3 lavender opringtons chicks and I just cannot tell boy/girl. Despite red combs and wattles the rest of how tails and feathers came in had me thinking girl. The third Orpington is noticeable less red however. They were all hatched within the same week, but are not from the same day. The youngest and oldest are about a week apart. Thanks ahead of time !

Initially always felt number 1 was a rooster but number 2 is who is throwing me off. She feathered so girl in the beginning and does have the longer tail. 3 just looks so different

What a bummer. This was then the week we brought them home. Of our 8 straight run chicks looks like we only ended up with 3 girls
