Hello everyone, this is my first time raising chicks and we got them a couple of days ago. They asked me if I wanted one with a deformity that might not make it and I said yes. She eats and drinks water perfectly fine, she doesn’t walk around too much though and doesn’t really play with the other chicks. I started doing a bunch of research and was wondering if she had a slipped tendon or something else and could it be fixed? They said they received her like that so it could also be possible it’s too late to do anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you ❤️ I figured even if she does pass, she can at least be in a comfortable place when she does.
If it makes you feel better , I’ve seen a lot of slipped tendon birds in this forum. I m not sure how to search through to find articles, but if I find any, I’ll send them here so you can read up on other people!s experiences.”

I’ve also seen those as well so it gives me hope! I just hope it’s not too late to do something. And I appreciate that! I’m trying to figure out how to search as well :)
