Morning update: one more hatched last night! I had two eggs still pipped, and I candled them quickly. One had a pip on the side of the egg (not in the air cell), but is now trying to pip in the air cell. It must have rearranged itself somehow. It was chirping like crazy, any advice?

This is going to kill me... I've been so patient all through the incubation, until that power outage. Now I'm worse than a mother hen!

My last egg that didn’t have any pips in it last night has a pip this morning! If this one hatches all that made it to lock down will have hatched.

The weather killed all mine so ive been out for weeks and I don't plan on hatching more ducks either

I woke up to 4 babies and just watched 5 hatch number 6 has pipped

I lied I think. Thought 1 wasn't pipped a few hours ago but went to get dry babies out and it had hatched. Lol. Have 3 pipped, 2 unpipped but peeping. And lots hatched. I am 14 hrs into day 20.

I was turning the eggs in the incubator and something fell off one of them. Puzzled, I turned it around and a big chunk of shell had fallen off! Then I looked again, and it was one of those that should be in lockdown, but I'd missed!

Candled it before placing it in the lockdown unit, and it pipped on the wrong side.

But it's tapping away in there. And now my mind is blank as to what to do with kids hatching on the wrong side of town!
